What an Experience!

We'll it has been a pretty hectic pace for the past day and a half, but well worth it. Maxwell James Bontrager was born at 8:55am on June 14. He was 7lbs 6oz and 20.5 inches long. He has a little bit of dark hair on his head, but not as much as we thought. I promise to post pictures as soon as we get home from the hospital tomorrow. You can imagine that I probably have a few by now :)

Tina did such an amazing job of pushing the little guy out and I am just so proud of her! And of course as soon as I saw Max's head make his way out the tears starting running down my face! But Tina is quite sore as you can imagine so I have been doing all that I can with Max so that she can rest as much as possible. That black tar coming out of his butt sure is interesting, eh?

I need to get back to our room, but just wanted to drop a note to let you know that the pictures will be coming.

Michael

You all take care!

We want to SEE our baby!!!!!!!
Congratulations. I'm so glad Maxwell made it here in time to spend your first Father's day WITH you. I hope Tina feels better soon. I'm sure it was a lot of work for her tiny little body.
The "tar stuff" is quite interesting and nearly impossible to wipe off but at least it doesn't SMELL!!!!!!:)

Max is a beautiful baby boy! I'm not sure who he looks like...I think he has Tina's cute nose and his chin has the dimple in it like his daddy's. He's got long skinny feet, too. I can't wait to see him and hold him again!!

Congratulations!! We're so happy for you and can't wait to see pictures of Maxwell. Michael, I'm glad you are so helpful and can experience taking care of that "tar stuff." I hope Tina feels better real soon. You all will be in our prayers as you adjust to having this wonderful experience of having your first child.
Love,
Barb
