Max Wins and beats Dad!

For the past couple of years Max and Michael have run the annual Halloween 5K.  This year we weren't sure if it was going to happen b/c Michael was supposed to be going on a business trip but he moved it so he and Max could run.  Last year Max ran it in 29 something I think, this year he ran it in 25:21.  I can't believe he can run so fast with those tiny legs, but running puts his endless amounts of energy to good use.

He trained hard and we are so proud of him and his first place finish in his age group.  He also loves it that he legitimately beat his dad.  I don't think Michael thought that at 8 years old his son would be beating him but he is one proud dad!
