Just one at home

These past couple of weeks have absolutely flown by just having Bryce at home.  I forget what it's like to just have one little one to take care of.  Although Bryce can't wait to go to school, I think he's enjoyed being the only one in the house for a little bit.  There's no one to fight over who goes first, who got the biggest cookie, who gets to sit on mommy's lap for story time, etc.  It's really just so peaceful.   We've done lots of simple things Bryce has really enjoyed.  Built a Volcano, Played with Cars, fed ducks, painted, etc.

Lila is still absolutely loving school.  She said her favorite day of the week is Monday so she can go to school.  It's so fun to hear about her day.  I love that I get a play by play from her. What she ate at lunch, who she sat by, what she played at recess and most importantly who was not following the rules.  Our kids are such rule followers.  It's nice b/c since Lila talks so much, Max doesn't want to be outdone by his little sister so he is telling me a little bit more about his day.  I'll take what I can get!

And Michael has come up with all sorts of rope obstacle courses for the kids.  It totally makes me cringe.  I get scared someone is going to get hurt!  But I suppose it is good exercise for the kids and it's better than a trampoline....maybe.

I can't tell from the picture what all the rope obstacle course consists of. I sure if Michael has created it, it has to be good!

Yeah for Lila telling you all about her day! I think it's funny that Max doesn't want to be outdone by his little sister. :)

Enjoy your time with Bryce.

I always look forward to your posts.
