Happy Birthday Scooter!

I cannot believe that my baby is 1 today. It seems like he was just coming home from the hospital. It was a long hard journey to have him, but we are so thankful he is a part of our lives. He is the happiest, sweetest baby and we couldn't ask for anything more. We really need to get some more videos of him laughing which he does all of the time. It is simply impossible to be in a bad mood around him b/c he is so happy it's contagious.
One of Bryce's favorite things to do include listening to music. He starts dancing whenever music comes on and he gets serious and starts bouncing his hand to the beat. Maybe he'll be the most musical out of the bunch. We have a stereo that he can get to and he loves to bang on it until a song comes on. I'm pretty sure the stereo isn't going to last much longer, but he has so much fun, I have a hard time telling him no.
He's just started pulling up this week. I know, most babies do this around 8 or 9 months, so he's a little slow...but he is really getting into everything now. He's taken a few steps around the furniture so hopefully he'll start really cruising soon. He still prefers to scoot around rather than crawl. I would say he still scoots 90% of the time and it's pretty funny to watch. Although it's a little sad when Max & Lila are playing and run to another room. He tries so hard to follow them as they run and he scoots along. I think his brother and sister are ready for him to chase them around. They absolutely adore Bryce and fight over him constantly. We think Bryce might have said yaya (Lila) and if Lila is Bryce's first word, Max will be devastated. He takes great pride in being the favorite big brother. Maybe we won't tell him Bryce said Lila.
