I love the brisk cool in the air this time of year and the cold doesn't seem to bother the kids either. We played outside a lot this weekend. One activity was watching the workers cut down 7 trees at our house this weekend. We were sad to see them go, but they were just too close to the house and causing too many problems. I didn't get a picture of the guy at the top of the 60 foot tree. That was nuts.
Still no breakthroughs on picking out names. It seems like Brock and Kelsie are in the lead right now, but I think it changes weekly. I actually do like Ruby, but that would be weird since I have two aunts with that name and the girl down the street is also named Ruby.
Max is really starting to come out of his shell with the people now and starting to talk a lot more to them. And of course he still doesn't shut up when at home. He never seems to run out of things to talk about. Silly stuff, serious questions, making up songs, telling stories. I think that is why Lila isn't saying many words...she never gets a chance to speak! He plays really well with Karli, the 5 year old next door. They love jumping on the trampoline together. Terrible pictures, I know, still trying to figure out how to take action pics with our new camera...
Lila got in on the action too.
Lila is saying a few words though. Max, Mommy, Daddy, kitty, good night, more, no, yes, please, puppy, ball. Thats all I can remember right now and of course none of them sound anything close to how they are supposed to, but we get the point. Oh and right now she thinks that "no" means "yes". And if you keep telling her to say yes instead she will eventually give you an Amish sounding "Yee". Whatever, she's the sweetest most precious little thing that has her daddy wrapped so tighly around her little finger. Oh wait, that's not suppossed to happen already. I need to be careful because I can already see that I am harder on Max and expect more out of him than I do Lila. I'd like to say it's just the age difference, but I really think that part of it is that Lila knows how to work the cuteness factor to get what she wants.
Tina is at 25 weeks tomorrow! Only 15 weeks to go and hopefully that means only 10 or 11 of bedrest. The depressing part (that she of course pointed out to me) is that it's still one week away from when she went on bedrest with Max! She's already been on bedrest longer than she was with Max. So she is doing well keeping her sanity and spirits up. It is not easy for her. And I do have to remind her sometimes to take it easy. For her mental health she does sometimes get on her feet and try to help out more than she should. But the main things to avoid are lifting things and going up and down the stairs and she has been very good about avoiding those things. So hopefully the healing will continue and the time will fly by before we add another loveable crying creature to our home!

The Bontrager posts always brighten my day!
Aunt Barb
Hang in there Michael and Tina!
I know you have 2 Ruby relatives... =o} but it did meet the criteria you came up with! There is a Ruby Martin (can you believe it??!) that comes to church when visiting her grandma and grandpa and she is ADORABLE. So I guess Ruby really can be a baby name. =o}
Keep the posts coming! I love them and you guys too.
