For the past couple of weekends Michael has taken the kids to a nearby park. He rides his bike while the kids are in the trailer. (Thanks for the trailer Crystal!) The kids seem to have a good time and Lila is apparently a super big girl and won't let Daddy help her down the slides anymore.
Lila is really starting to say a lot. Most of it we can't really understand but she says Max(Ma), Mom (Maaa), and more(mo) are some of her favorites. She also has started making animal noises. So far every animal either says Baa or Mooo regardless of what the animal is. It's fun to watch her learn.
Max is still doing pretty well at school. Drop offs have been going ok and he even talked to his teachers the other day. Last night Michael and I were shocked b/c he really wanted to play with Carlie next door. She had her friend over and they were playing on their trampoline. Michael said he had to go ask them to play by himself. It took him a few minutes but he did. The girls ended up coming over to our backyard to play on our swingset and watch Michael and Max play soccer. The girls started cheering for Max and he got the biggest grin on his face. It was shortlived however. As soon as the girls who are a couple of years older than Max started playing socccer they were faster. Max started crying b/c he never got the ball and said the girls weren't sharing. He just doesn't understand that's how you play soccer. I think he might have also gotten my competitive nature, so he doesn't really care about winning.

I'm glad Max is coming out of his shell more. If Max is anything like his dad.... some day HE will be the heart breaker. =o]
Cute pictures!
