Daddy who?

So my parents had been planning to come to town on Saturday and Sunday. Luckily Max had started feeling good enough that we decided to keep our plans. I am usually the fun one around the house...but not so much when Grandpa is there. Max learned summersaults, had sled rides, built blanket tunnels, rode his tricycle and so much more. He also liked to "boss" Grandma around a little, telling her when and when to sit and get up on some new chairs Tina and I bought. Anyway I think Max was sad to see them go today. Tina and I got some needed shopping and errand running done with them in town though and I got to relax and rest quite a bit so that I fought off the vomitting part of the bug that Max had.

Oh and grandma fell into a big hole in the front yard where the water meter is installed. I sure wish I could have got that on camera but I was laughing too hard! It was quite a sight and when she finally got out she was pretty muddy and had lost one shoe. haha. I am still laughing out loud about it. But she could have gotten hurt so we'll need to make sure the cover is on a little better in the future.

Tina thought it was imperative that we had a family picture. She had been talking about having someone take one for months now. It's impossible to get Max to cooperate for a photo op anymore!
