Appointments

So we took all three kids to have their annual appointments earlier this week. I'm not sure I'll do that again. Our pediatrician was a little bit late which didn't help but after an hour and forty five minutes in the little exam room the kids were certainly ready to leave. But all kids are doing well. Bryce is certainly on the small side but he is growing, and let's face it...Michael and I are not huge so our kids are probably not going to be huge either.

Max is growing up so fast and I can't believe he is already four. I'm glad I'll have him home for another couple of years before he starts kindergarten though. He and Lila are playing really well together lately and our conspiring against mommy. Right now it's hilarious...I'll need to remember this in the teenage years when it's not so funny but here are a couple of stories.

Max and Lila got those big letters that go on the floor out in the basement when I wasn't down there. The letters were on a high shelf, so Max obviously climbed on a box and got them out. I asked him how he got them out and he said 'See mom I was magical and I just flew up and got them.' uh huh. sure you did. While I was putting Bryce down for a nap, Max had strapped Lila in Bryce's high chair and she was apparently playing Bryce. Max would bring her toys and she would throw them on the floor. I thought this was a terrible game but Lila thought it was great.

I was in the laundry room and all of a sudden I didn't hear Max and Lila. They had suddenly vanished. I found them in Max's room 'hiding' eating some goldfish crackers. I had told them no more and when I wasn't looking they were sneaky and took the crackers up to his room. When I opened the door they had the most guilty expressions. Did they think I wasn't going to catch them?

Max playing with his Legos. This is the first and only toy Max will play with by himself. We love Legos!

Here's Lila thinking she is as coordinated as her older brother. She's not. Not even close. She was trying to do a somersault off of the bean bag. Super idea.

Bryce is still just about the sweetest, happiest baby in the whole world. He has started eating food and is super messy, but he seems to really like it and has grasped the concept much faster than Lila did. He thinks he can feed himself.

Thanks for the update Tina. I'm sure Max and Lila's conspiring talent is inherited from their dad!

It was good to see all of you last weekend.

Love you all.
