Updates

Max sometimes seems so much older than he is. Sometimes he seems like a big boy when he ponders something other times he seems like an 80 year old woman when he asks for a cup of hot tea b/c he is cold. Mind you it was 80 degrees outside when he asked for the tea. He has never ever had hot tea before. I'm not sure where he got that. You just never know what is going to come out of his mouth.

Lila continues to be the cutest most stubborn little girl around. We are really trying to work with her on manners to say please 'pees' and thank you 'tank yo'. Right now she would rather cry forever than say please. We are also trying to teach her how to pedal on the tricycle, which is not going well. She unfortunately has her mother's coordination and stubbornness (according to her dad, I don't think that's true). She believes she knows how to pedal and simply by putting her feet on the pedals the tricycle should start moving. She doesn't want any part of trying to LEARN how to do it.

Bryce is still the sweetest baby, although not the most photogenic. I swear he will smile and laugh all the time until that camera comes out. Then he is completely stone faced and won't smile for anything. He must be camera shy. I am going to try to schedule pics to get a good shot of all three. I'm pretty sure it is going to be a disaster, but we are going to try anyway. I really want a couple of good shots of Bryce.

Maybe Max heard Grandma Patty ask for hot tea?:) It's easy for me to laugh at your story about Lila crying instead of saying please...I'm not the one trying to teach her manners. I'm sure she'll get it soon. Bryce is a real cutie, even if he doesn't smile.

Your posts always make my day!
