A day in the life

So I was very nervous about my first week at home alone with the kids, but so far it has flown by. Max is in the midst of his terrible 2s so I was worried it was going to be one meltdown after the next, but so far he has been such a good little boy. Surprisingly he has only had a couple of tantrums. I think he enjoys having mommy at home with him. Lila has been a great little baby. It almost worries me how laid back she is. I think she still has her days and nights a little backwards but she's only 3 weeks old. What can we expect? Max absolutely adores his baby sister. He always tries to cover her up if he sees a blanket...we have to be careful he doesn't suffocate his little sister, and he is always giving her kisses and wants to hold her. This doesn't phase her at all. She just lets him do whatever. I can't believe how much she has changed already. She has definitely gotten chunkier so I am curious to see how much she weighs at her next doctor's appointment on Monday. Here's what a typical day looks like so far.

Max helping out with chores.

While Lila sleeps.

Max playing with his trains ( I thought the dining room would be an adult room. I was wrong.)

Lila sleeping some more.

Oh! She's awake!

Glad to hear things are going well. Can't wait to see your family again, hopefully sometime soon, and meet little Lila. Until then, keep the pictures coming!
