Max got his very first haircut this weekend. We were a little worried how he was going to do, but he did great. He loved playing in the car and watching the other kids. It's so hard to believe what a big boy he is now.
We are also teaching Max some new tricks in preperation for football season. We say 'What do we do when the Colts score? Touchdown' and then we give each other high fives. Max likes the high fives the best. We'll try to get some pictures of that and post on the next blog.We are also one family member short now. Some of you know that last weekend Max was trying to play with Whatley and she wasn't having it anymore and turned around and snapped at Max. She didn't break the skin but it was enough to scare us into trying to find her a new home. We were very fortunate as one of my co-workers who is a huge dog lover was looking for another dog. She has a Wheaten who is about 9 months old and wanted an older dog to try to settle her pup down. Whatley spent the weekend with her and she did great, so we aren't getting her back. It is really a great fit and Whatley is back to gettting spoiled rotten, eating nothing but the best and getting lots of exercise. We couldn't have asked for anything better. It's hard not to have her, but we know it is for the best.

Looks like Max will be learning some tricks with the remote control too! Love his haircut. Hope all is going well getting ready to move.

Next will be riding a bike then diving a car and making mom and dad nervous. The hair cut looks good.

Whatley was such a good dog before. It's too bad Whatley couldn't take playing 2nd fiddle to Max. :(:(
