Well Max has very quickly made the transition to table food...even though he is still without a single tooth. Tonight was Chicken and Noodles, with a side of green beans. We finally had to cut him off because he had eaten so much. I remember when Tina and I thought it was a messy dinner if a little bit of his jar food got on his face and dripped on the bib. Ha! Now I am starting to understand what messy means when it comes to feeding a small child. Food on the walls, the dog, the floor, the table, and every fold of skin on Max's body. Oh well it's pretty fun to watch.
Below are a few shots of tonights dinner. He is getting pretty good a getting food into his mouth now.
Max always makes sure that Whatley gets to sample everything too! It's the only time Whatley really likes him.
And we always celebrate when we are done eating...
After dinner Max was playing in his room and couldn't quite see into his toy box that grandpa made for him, so he pulled himself up to his feet to look in. That was the first time he has done it to his feet, but he was determined to get in that toy box.
Another one of my favorite things is when I come home from work and say "hello", he starts crawling toward me in the laundry room before he can even see me. So I think he understands who daddy is, even though he can't quite say it yet!
He is clapping and waving regularly now though too! Lots of exciting changes happening with him.

What a big boy! Where is the picture of him looking into the toybox?
Again, I love your pics! It's neat to hear about the new things Max is doing. Did Max's bib not work, or did you just decide to hose him off after dinner? I look forward to your new posts, so keep it up.
