Yeah, it looks pretty cruel right? But after using the "Nebulizer" for 4 nights straight, we actually were able to sleep again because it helped Max stay asleep and not cough constantly. The doctor also prescribed some steroids that were supposed to reduce swelling of his lungs, which was also making it difficult for him to sleep.
Anyway I think the results are good as we had a good Saturday for once. He was very happy today as we took his 6 month pictures and played all day long back at home.
Max is starting to reach out for us when we pass him back and forth or pick him up. That's fun. he also sort of gives kisses to us, but really he just opens his mouth and tries to get enough of our face, neck, ears in it so he can chew it with his gums that are starting to produce teeth (we think).

Also he is getting very close to sitting up now too. Hopefully he will be sitting up for Christmas and maybe have a tooth by then too!
Don't forget to check out the new pictures in our photo gallery.

The nebulizer.... Been there done that... Not a fun thing, but maybe Max is still young enough that it doesn't bother him so much. Ethan was given one last January...Started with a cough he could not get rid of...and then it all turned into a slight form of asthma...which he did outgrow this summer. Which steroid is he on? I have some advice about some of them...I found certain ones would make Ethan very hyper/active and others would make him much calmer- Max is so cute you guys...What a fun Christmas you will have... and believe me...all Max will want for Christmas is the wrapping paper so no stress this year...! Love ya! Amanda
The pictures are adorable!!! :)
Thanks for making me smile on a Monday!!
