Who....Me?

So our sweet little girl is beginning to show the same orneriness as her brother. Last night Max and Lila were playing with the marble roller. This is a big treat b/c it is usually put away for fear Lila is going to choke on a marble, so we have to be right there when they are playing. Anyway, Max was concentrating very hard on building a long line of marbles and Lila didn't want him to, so with all of her might she took both hands and pushed him as hard as she could in his back into the marble roller. He went down, marbles went everywhere and the inevitable meltdown followed. Lila then turned to look at me, came and sat down in my lap, like 'what?' Max was screaming 'Lila needs a timeout.' I was a little shocked...What happened to my sweet baby girl? I think someone has gotten a little spoiled the past few months while mommy has been on bedrest. I don't know who could have spoiled her....Daddy perhaps. Lila had to say sorry to Max and we picked up the marbles, and Max got to play with the marble roller w/o interference from his little sister.

Max is really enjoying school this year and I was getting him ready for it today. I picked out a sweater for him and he said 'no mommy I'm going to get a cooler one'. Then he put it on and said 'And when daddy comes home tonight he will say you are a handsome boy.' At least he has a healthy ego. :)
