Max had his nine month checkup today and he is doing great. He is a little small for his age. He weighs 19 lbs 14 oz (30th percentile), 28.5(50th percentile) inches tall, and he has a pretty big head, 18 1/2 inches (80th percentile), so he'll be real smart like daddy :)
Max has started to eat some table food. He loves his graham crackers. They are super messy but Max leaves lots of treats for Whatley on the floor. It's about the only thing that Whatley so far likes about Max. We practically have to hold her down to let Max pet her.

This morning we woke up after Max had a great night of sleep...all night! That was about only the second or third time he has really ever made it the whole night. Well of course his diaper was full and spilling over with poop and he of course was hungry. Actually not really, he only took half his bottle, which is not normal at all. I also mentioned to Tina that he looked a little pale. And he wasn't his happy self and didn't want to play, just wanted to be held which again isn't normal for him. I guess I should have put that all together and expected the double dose, firehose pressure, vomit shower that was about spill all over me! DISGUSTING! Thank goodness for the office chair floor protector that caught the other 8 oz that dripped off of me and the office chair.
This was his first real "projectile" vomit and I can't believe how much liquid came out of that little boy. The timing is not real good as we are supposed to leave this afternoon for a weekend family retreat in Shipshewana. So hopefully he starts feeling better after a good long nap. Poor guy.
